    Catherine Donat, Bemidji Custom Accounting

I have lived in Minnesota my entire life, and with the occasional sojourn to the south in seek of the sunshine life here is bearable. My husband, daughter and dog are the main actors in my play of life. So far they have all challenged this director in the most perfect ways for my own personal growth, and I am increasingly thankful for their love and support. I most enjoy the sunshine on my face, walking through the woods, golfing, kayaking, biking and reading.

I have worked in the accounting field for over 30 years and have had my own bookkeeping/tax practice since 2010. I am always seeking the answers to questions I don't even know I have, and the more I learn the more I question. I have been a member of financial groups, partaken in financial retreats, taken courses, listened to lectures, and have spent thousands to do so. Have I found the answer to financial freedom? Perhaps not, but I've sure had an adventure along the way. I'm happy to share with you some of the highlights of my journey, some nuggets of wisdom I've gained, and the most important and recurring theme throughout.
